“Lingap-Kalusugan: Alay Kay Madre Ignacia”, a yearly free Medical/Dental Reach-Out Activity of the RVM Generalate Area communities was held last March 23, 2013 at the RVM Motherhouse Complex, in cooperation with the BESC units of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral Parish of Cubao, Quezon City.
Today as we celebrate the 350th baptismal anniversary of Venerable Ignacia del Espiritu Santo, we turn the hands of time to look into her life in retrospect. Recalling her life we see this woman of the 17th century as she journeyed in her earthly life towards her heavenly goal. Time and again, her choice of her state of life fully dedicated to her Divine Creator, always comes to the fore without any trace of any misgiving. As a person who has direction in life she was guided accordingly. Life for her puts on a meaning. No wonder success awaits for her up to the end.
Sixty-five years ago, His Holiness Pope Pius XII, stamped his Definitive Approbation of the RVM Constitution on 12 January 1948. The papal act marked the Congregation of the Religious of the Virgin Mary as the first institution of women religious in the Philippines, with Pontifical Rights. In view of this, today’s celebration commemorates the significant milestone in the history of the Congregation.
By revelation God, from the fullness of His love, addresses us as friends, inviting us all into His company. The adequate response to this invitation is faith, whereby we submit our intellect and will to God.
Today, as we commemorate the 264thDeath Anniversary of Venerable Ignacia del Espiritu Santo, we also celebrate the acceptance of the new member of the RVM Lay Associate. There are 27 of them namely: Zenaida Acosta, Amanda Aquino, Reynaldo Aquino, Paraluman Azul, Maria Baetiong, Lolita Baluyot, Nora Jose Barrion, Viola dela Cruz, Cawaling, Myrna Chua, Felicidad Coronado, Lilia Cruz, Erlinda Demition, Barbara Drueco, Pedro Drueco, Yolanda Guinto, Emiliana Guro, Teresita Lagrajon, Gloria Lorenzo, Teresita Magtoto, Nelly Montil, Editha Abiera Moreno, Olympia Morillo, Elizabeth Palonpon, Josefina Raymundo, Emelita Tecson, Teresita Tolentino, Josephine Valencia, and Elizabeth Verdera.
Today, we witness another Silver and Golden Jubilee Celebration in the history of our Congregation----another shining moment in our consecrated life! We join our nine (9) Silver Jubilarians and our two (2) Golden Jubilarians, in their joy and gratitude, for, indeed, there is REASON to celebrate! 25 years / 50 years of self-offering to a God and His mission is truly a beautiful and powerful gift of love for our Congregation, for the Church, and for the world.

Today, March 25, 2012, the Congregation of the Religious of the Virgin Mary is blessed with fifteen (15) Sisters who committed themselves to become perpetually members of this Congregation. By their final profession of the evangelical counsels, the characteristic features of Jesus – the chaste, the poor, and the obedient – are forever made manifest in the midst of the world and in the eyes of the faithful are directed towards the mystery of the Kingdom.
